In November, the process to create the fourth mural in the schools of the Rochapea neighbourhood will begin. To kick things off, a workshop of ideas will be held on 6 November to resume the collaborative mural project in the local schools.

A workshop to shape the final mural

During this session, the story for the final mural will continue to take shape, allowing the artists to create an initial sketch. From there, the community will continue participating to bring the final design to life, filling Rochapea with colour and positive energy.

A project that keeps growing

As part of the European oPEN Lab project, three collaborative murals have already been completed in the local schools (Colegio La Compasión Escolapios, CP Rochapea y CPEIP Cardenal Ilundain). With this fourth mural, the aim is to consolidate the participation of students, teachers and neighbourhood residents, strengthening community bonds through art.

Starting at Patxi Larrainzar School

The design workshop will take place at Patxi Larrainzar public school, where students, families and local residents will imagine together how they want Rochapea to look and feel.

This will be the first step in creating a mural that incorporates everyone’s ideas, combining creativity, colour and collaboration. With this fourth mural, Rochapea will once again be filled with positive energy, neighbourhood pride and shared art.
