Within the framework of the CI+IRU Project promoted by the Directorate of Territorial Planning and Urban Agenda of the Department of Housing and Urban Agenda of the Basque Government, one of the first initiatives promoted has been the dynamization of an international research network in Urban Regeneration.
For this, since 2021, an annual International Seminar has been organized as a meeting place for agents of excellence in the field of urban regeneration.
The international research network is currently made up of more than 30 interregional, national and European agents, including entities from the academic world, public administration and the private sector.
The seminar is set as a core and enlightening activity to consolidate the collaborative research network for Urban Regeneration projects through the work and the experience shared by the agents involved.
In this 2024 the 4th International Seminar CI+IRU 2024 will be held on October 23rd and 24th at the School of Architecture of SAN SEBASTIÁN.
