Evaluation of the environmental impact of 3 university campuses in the three regions of Euskadi, Aquitaine and Navarra, both of the current situation and of improvement scenarios.

Through the use of the NEST tool, the environmental impact will be analyzed from a Life Cycle perspective, being able to compare scenarios: current status and future scenarios with the implementation of renewable energies and passive renovation strategies. Especially the use of biomass as an energy source will be studied.

Date: October 2019 – September 2021

The specific and main objective of the project focuses on the study of the use of renewable energies (wind energy, forest biomass and photovoltaic energy) for the generation of energy on university campuses so that the environmental impact is reduced with respect to the current state, approaching the objectives of the European Directives.
