Academic background
Architect from the School of Architecture of San Sebastián UPV-EHU and Master’s Degree in Environment and Bioclimatic Architecture and Official Master’s Degree in Peripheries, Sustainability and Urban Vitality from the Polytechnic University of Madrid UPM.
Teaching and research experience
She is currently a professor of Installations and Energy Optimization of Heritage at the University of the Basque Country, at the San Sebastián School of Architecture, where she also carries out research work and is writing his doctoral thesis focused on the urban microclimate.
Professional experience
She has worked in various architecture studios in the drafting and development of building projects, although his career has focused mainly on environmental consultancy for studios and public entities and on research activity. She has worked developing research projects focused on sustainability, bioclimatic and energy efficiency at Tecnalia, the Polytechnic University of Madrid or the Carbon Footprint Institute.
