Academic background

Architect from the Universitá degli Studi G. D’Annunzio – Facoltá di Architettura (1986-1995). PhD in Architecture from the Universitá degli Studi G. D’Annunzio – Facoltá di Architettura (1997-2000). Master’s Degree in Equality between Women and Men, Equality Agent from the Public University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (2020-2021).

Teaching experience

Professor of architectural projects at the Universitá degli Studi G. D’Annunzio (1997-2004). Professor of architectural projects and urban planning at the UPV/EHU (2008-present). Professor and co-responsible for the Sustainable Urban Planning module of the Master’s Degree in Sustainable Construction and Energy Efficiency at the UPV/EHU (2010-present).

Research experience

Researcher of the CAVIAR group “Quality of Life in Architecture” of the UPV/EHU.

Professional experience

Claudia has always intertwined her professional activity with teaching and, especially, research, acquiring knowledge and experience in integrated urban regeneration of vulnerable contexts, social innovation and collective creation processes, focusing especially on women as subjects of privileged reference for the structural inequalities it suffers.

All this journey culminates in the creation of the Spin-off RB3 Integrated Urban Innovation, which he has directed since 2014. She has also been director of the Sustainability Commission at the Official College of Basque-Navarro Architects, Gipuzkoa Delegation, from 2015 to 2022 and Member of the Gipuzkoa Regional Government at the Official College of Basque-Navarro Architects, Gipuzkoa Delegation throughout 6 years. She is currently one of the founders and members of the Equality Commission of this same professional College.
