PROJECT
The CI+IRU is conceived as an instrument to promote unifying driving projects and the dissemination and transfer of knowledge in the field of sustainable cities in the Basque Country to position itself as a leading territory in the field of innovation for Urban Regeneration, not only in the theoretical and scientific plane but also in the application one.
The CI+IRU framework is defined based on 4 strategic lines with the greatest potential in the specific field of sustainability in cities and the territory;

OBJECTIVE
CI+IRU’s mission is to make the best urban regeneration ideas for sustainable cities a reality within the European 2050 framework. The project’s main objectives are to promote the transfer of scientific excellence, technological and industrial leadership, and open innovation, and to develop strategies of transfer with which to implement the Urban Agenda 2050.
